Tracy stopped by this weekend to lend a hand with the Rock Bug.  For those that don’t know, Tracy is quite good on fabrication so we wasted no time and put him right to work. Tracy spent a good portion of his Saturday finishing up some tube work on the chassis.  Besides barking orders at Tracy, we had a great opportunity to get him back in the drivers seat so work could continue on mounting in-cab controls such as shifter linkages.  For the rest of the weekend we stayed busy mounting the motor accessories to the custom Scat engine plate as well as mounting the engine plate to the chassis.  Next up should have been modifying the existing oil pan for exhaust clearance.  After much thought, it seems easier and cleaner to make a billet one from scratch than modify the one that was already on the motor.  Will there be an end to custom Scat engine parts?  Hopefully soon because the clock is ticking!
