Que the it’s happening gif, Ultra4s will be on NBC Sports tonight! Kicking off a 6 part series titled “Journey to The Hammers”, Ultra4 drivers and teams will get some national love and well-deserved eyeballs for the world’s toughest off-road motorsport. We haven’t seen the footage yet; we’ll be watching live along with everyone else, but having been to many of this year’s races we expect only good things to come. Be sure to catch the action tonight, if you find yourself without NBC Sports just hit up your local bar/restaurant and demand they put this on front and center.

There’s something special happening in this year’s east coast Ultra4 series. While these east born venues are among my favorite, total driver counts reaching less than half of their west coast counterparts made them feel a bit less watched in the Ultra4 grand scheme. Fast forward to 2016, east coast races are growing at the largest percentage year over year, and driver counts are reaching levels that are attracting racers as far out as California.
