We’ll wrap up our small SRRS photo set with this shot of the 2012 series champion, Peter Basler. Certainly not your average rock bouncer, but for us that’s what makes Peter’s BTF racer that much better. Small, lightweight, strong parts, just the right amount of each to make for a versatile & unstoppable machine. Congrats again Peter for taking the series!

Derek West made the trip out to SRRS last weekend. Unfortunately, the recent Miller Motorsports Ultra4 competition left Derek with a tired machine in need of some TLC. He ended up destroying a fatigued rear 9″ and was unable to finish for the weekend. No doubt watching other’s race still made for a good weekend though.

One things for certain, SRRS know’s hill climbing. Above is Joe Lawson, attacking one of last weekends hill climbs with style. Although steering up to 50° with his front Spidertrax Ultimate Knuckles, he was unable to save this roll. If memory serves us right, he rolled a few times down to the bottom, his rig caught fire and put out with a careful combination of fire extinguishers and branches, all ending with a smile on Joe’s face and a few high fives with his fans. Just your average SRRS weekend competition :) .

After his recent 5th place W.E.Rock Grand National’s finish, Kenny Blume (pictured above) took his rock crawling machine to last weekend’s SRRS finals. With cheers from the crowd being a function of how loud your motor is, Kenny wasn’t the overall crowd favorite. That being said, he took on the SRRS rock bouncing trials with ease and showed just what a light, versatile rock crawling machine could do.
