Following-up on our “Billet 2 piece yokes, in production” post, today we’re busy with what happens after heat-treat. Every 2 piece billet yoke receives careful post heat treatment machining, namely reaming of the u-joint thru bore and fly cutting of the inner ears. Together, these operations ensure u-joints fit with the highest level of precision. That’s it for today, back to machining we go.
