It was a rough weekend for Brad Lovell and his team. Having placed 4th on Saturday, things seemed in-line for a Sunday podium finish. Off the line, Brad took the hole shot and lead that pack of over 20 Pro Lights into turn one. His luck changed however as he got tangled up with another racer, causing damage to his oil tank. The fire that resulted from this damage was enough to end Sunday’s race, leaving Brad with a DNF.¬†Things could be worse though. Brad’s rig will be ready for the final TORC race of the season later this month, and he is still sitting in 3rd for series points.

Here’s the full race recap, in Brad’s words. Looking forward to the final race in¬†Primm Off Road Raceway (Primm, NV) on September 27th.
