Scherer takes top honors, two years in a row!

The Ultra4 field has gotten so competitive, and so equally matched, it’s rare these days to find back to back wins from a single racer. That didn’t stop Jason Scherer though, who has taken top honors two years in a row now for Ultra4s Nitto National Championship. This years course in Congress, AZ was much like last years in Blackwell, TX, tight and twisty, lots of dust, and zero room for driver error. Solid axles and IFS suspensions seemed fairly well matched, but Jason’s Spider 9 IFS powered Ultra4 racer took to the field like it was designed specifically for it. Congrats to Jason and his entire racing team for a job well done. What a great way to end the season!
Also, congrats to Shannon Campbells, who not only won this years complete Ultra4 series, but took home the honors for the very well deserved Sportsman of the Year award. It is always a blast racing with the Campbells, and we can’t wait to see everyone again next year.
In typical fashion, we’ll be posting a few photos throughout the week from Congress, AZ. Till then, results from this weekends race (courtesty of Ultra4Racing.com), are as follows:
