Just a little in-house action of some 40 spline Dana 60 axle shafts, custom manufactured for Sun Fire Off-Road. No doubt these bad boys will find their way to some interesting trails, and obstacles. Make it a great weekend, back to work we go!
From 70 deg F to blizzard. Wicked driving conditions. Loss of power at Spidertrax HQ. Welcome to spring time in Colorado.
We’re doing our best to keep things rocking today, but posting this on battery power doesn’t bode well for business as usual. We’re making the call to hold back shipping for today, so all in-stock orders placed today will ship by tomorrow. Sorry for the delay, not much we can do to control the weather. Some day…
As for phones, we’ll try to keep them open today. So far, phone service is happy and well. Granted, we’re working by candlelight, but that just keeps things interesting. Make it a great day, thanks for your patience and understanding while we shovel ourselves out (or wait for tomorrows 50 deg F weather to melt everything away).
While we’re working on the final stages of this month’s axle shaft run (checking for straightness / front shaft assembly), best to lay out our holiday schedule for the rest of this week. We will be closed tomorrow and Friday (that’s December 31st and January 1st ’16) for New Year’s. Orders placed online for in-stock items during that time will ship when we return on Monday, January 4th 2016.
Also, another friendly reminder, for those still needing axle shafts for KOH race day Friday, you’d need to get that order in today or place that order online by tomorrow, December 31st. That’s about as last-minute as we’ll be able to get, after that our axle shaft manufacturing time is just too long to pull off a KOH miracle.
With that, we have another amazing year down and another amazing year ahead. To all the drivers, teams, families, and fans who allow us to do what we do, THANK YOU. We wouldn’t be here without your support.
Touching on our post from last week, we wanted to kick this week off with a little more clarity as to when we are, and when we are not, open. We’ll be in full operation today, tomorrow, and Wednesday of this week. We will be closed this Thursday & Friday, December 24th and 25th.
Simple post for today, let’s make it a great 3 day work week and a great extended holiday weekend.

This morning I caught a note from our night shift to our day shift. All is running well, have a good day. Great advice, and while were at it let’s make it a great weekend as well. See you next week.
