Twas the Friday before Christmas, and all through the shop;
Just 49 days till KOH, our machines must never stop
We’ve seen more prep this year, so there’s one safe bet;
2015 KOH will be THE most epic race yet
Followed by some other poetry about Dave Cole shouting (with cheer), drivers convincing their families racing is a good thing, and so on. A near Merry Christmas everyone! Before we close out the week, thought it best to dial in a few last-minute goodies for those running around like mad men (and women) pre-koh.
1. Yes, there’s still time for axle shafts! Although cutting it close, axle shaft orders placed by December 31st will ship by January 30th. With KOH race days kicking off the week after, this means you’ll be about a week ahead of schedule ;p . Seriously though, orders have been rolling in all of December so please don’t be that driver who forgets the one part that makes those tires turn.
2. We have a few days off for the holidays. While we’ve been working around the clock (literally), a few days off for the family is a much-needed and welcome entry to the craziness of late. We will be closed December 25th & 26th (Christmas) as well as January 1st & 2nd (New Years).

Things are still jammin’ in the shop, it seems like products are flying off the shelves as fast as we are stocking them these days. It’s good to be busy, and we really appreciate the support from the off-road community. Before we get back at it, we wanted to share this quick shot showing off a little tig welding on our Pro Series Housings. If you look close, you’ll see the housing’s third member face plate is bare (no threaded holes, no machining). Reason being, we machine all housings AFTER welding, to ensure hole pattern and third member depth are 100% perfect. Alright, we better get back to it, have a great weekend!

If you’re an Ultra4 racer, you already know we have been making IFS parts for some time now. But… why isn’t this product line shown in all of its glory on our online store ( www.spidertrax.com )? That sir (or madam) is a good question. Demand seems to be outpacing production, such that there’s really no sense of “officially” releasing a product without the product physically on hand to sell. We’ve been ramping up production, and making process improvements along the way, but we’re still been selling faster than stocking. Both a good and a bad problem, but we’ll get these stocked and in the store soon enough.
Pictured here is the 941 version of our IFS housing stub shafts, in production. Most racers are running the larger 30 series joints, which of course we also make, but we’re starting to see a little more 941 demand these days, a choice likely influenced heavily on price.
Price… but what prices are we talking about since those parts ARE NOT on the online store?
