We’re wrapping up our small photo set from last weekend’s TORC Traxxas Cup Race, with this shot of Gary Ferravanti stagings for day 2. Looking calm and collected, Gary powered his Spider 9 Ultra4 racer to two 1st place finishes last weekend, and looked ready for more when the dust settled. We’ll work on posting the full res versions of our photos tomorrow.

Crowd pleasers.

After two days of short course racing, one things for certain. Ultra4s are crowd pleasers. Both days of racing were intense, but without question the final day of Ultra4 racing was easily one of the hottest races, for all classes, of the weekend. We’d be surprised if Ultra4s weren’t invited back again, and we’d be equally surprised if Ultra4s didn’t accept :) .

We grabbed this shot of Will Carter at last weekend’s TORC Traxxas Cup race, who finished 2nd on day two in the Ultra4 class.

The Lovells know racing.

From rock crawling to short course racing, the Lovells have proven time and again they have what it takes to conquer any off-road terrain. While Brad was busy winning the TORC Pro Light series championship, his brother Roger (pictured here) was grabbing himself a 3rd place finish in the 2nd Ultra4 race this past weekend. Guess it runs in the family.
