While it may be Sunday, we’re still hard at work here at Spidertrax. Here’s a shot of a 300M prototype IFS stub shaft, getting some final splining in our VF-3 4th axis. After machining, this guy will make its way to the furnace for some heat treating action, then back for some final higher precision machining.
The talents of Will Gentile and HeavyMetalConcepts are at it again, this time with a race recap video from the Glen Helen Grand Prix. For those just catching up on this event, be sure to check out our photo album as well. Enjoy.
There’s three days left in the SaveTheHammers.org campaign. For those just getting involved, be sure to catch up on the campaign HERE. Otherwise, here’s the representative to contact today:
Friday August 10th, 2012 Please Call:
Rep. Mary Bono Mack (R-CA 45) or
District Director Marc Troast
Palm Desert 760-320-1076 fax 760-320-0596
And, of course, be sure to head over to the Save the Hammers Facebook page and share your story.
We’re hard at work, getting our new Spidertrax HQ location ready for production. Previously, this building was designed and used for gymnastics. The plus side is that inside and outside the condition of the building was near mint. The down side, giant pits in the middle of the floor. Nothing a little dirt can’t handle. Or, more accurately, nothing a LOT of dirt can’t handle. We’re shooting for a move in by November 1st.
There’s five days left in the SaveTheHammers.org campaign to, you guessed it, save the Hammers. If you are new to this campaign, be sure to catch up on it HERE. Once you’re filled in and ready for action, here’s the representative on today’s call and/or fax list:
Wednesday August 8th, 2012 Please call and/or fax:
Rep. Buck McKeon (R-CA 25) or
Deputy COS Bob Haueter
Santa Clarita 661-254-2111 fax 661-254-2380
From what we are seeing over at the Save the Hammers Facebook page, people are united and active. That’s a good thing :) .
